We're Going on a Bear Hunt

I was the Art Director on this half hour special for Channel 4 and headed up a team of 4 layout artists and 8 background artists. All the backgrounds were hand painted using watercolour. My pre visual paintings are watercolour and then I moved to Photoshop to produce colour models for each of the 18 sequences for the artists to reference. Directed by Robin Shaw & Joanna Harrison, 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' was adapted from the best-selling classic children's book by Michael Rosen & Helen Oxenbury. 

It was brought to screen by Lupus Films and shown on Channel 4 over Christmas 2016, attracting an audience of over 8 million viewers.
